Our hopes for the litter is to produce Silkens that are a little smaller than Maya as she is at the top of the standard for a bitch. We are looking for confident, keen little athletes that are primarily wonderful companions for their people.
This is our second and last litter with Maya. Her thyroid, heart and eyes all tested normal and clear. She is MDR1 carrier. She is an elegant girl with coat and athleticism. She has been shown only a little, but placed 2nd in her class at Silkenfest 2007. The puppies from her first litter are starting to make their way on the racing field and are wonderful companions.
Sire:
is MDR1 clear, heart is normal, thyroid pending. He is a small boy, smaller than our Maya and weighs' 28-30 pounds. He is a keen little dog with a lot of enthusiasm for racing and lure coursing. He can run full tilt then come in the house and turn into a couch potato.
